When the Theatre opened in 1931 it was one of three Art Deco movie palaces built in Los Angeles by Warner Brothers Studios. Today, this Theatre is the only one still in operation.

Grand Vision has been successfully advocating for the Theatre for over 25 years and recently, the City of Los Angeles designated $15 million for renovations and repairs. Thanks to this major investment we can look forward to another 100 years with the Warner Grand standing proudly at the center of the community.

On January 1, 2024, the Warner Grand temporarily closed to start essential ADA, plumbing, and electrical upgrades – all the while keeping the beautiful historic elements of the building intact.
