The South Pasadena Transit Authority is a tribute to the music of the great rock band, Chicago! The band is made up of 9 working professionals who share a passion for the complicated songs of Chicago and recreating them live. They’ve been together for over 15 years and we should mention that, after fifteen years, they sound pretty darned good!

Among other shows, SPTA has been honored to perform at every South Pasadena Eclectic Music Festival since it’s inception. 2025 will make our 15th year and we are very excited about being back! We are available for festivals, concerts in the park, club dates, wherever there’s a need for good music!!
