Grand Vision Foundation has been awarded a Capital Improvements Grant from the Perenchio Foundation. This support marks an exciting step forward in our ongoing efforts to produce high-quality arts events in the South Bay and beyond.
The Perenchio Foundation’s Capital Improvements Grants support arts organizations with funds for facility, equipment and technology improvements. These funds are designed to increase functionality, foster collaboration and help build long-term sustainability in the arts sector.
As the 1,500-seat Warner Grand Theatre is temporarily closed for renovations, Grand Vision must look to alternate venues. Outdoor events are a way for Grand Vision to serve larger audiences and continue working toward our mission: to inspire and engage the diverse Los Angeles Harbor/South Bay community through culturally inclusive arts and educational experiences.

San Dia de los Muertos Festival 2025
Grand Vision currently produces the main and community stages for San Pedro’s annual Dia de los Muertos festival and recently announced four free Concerts at the Harbor from April to June 2025.
This new grant will allow Grand Vision to purchase professional outdoor stage and sound equipment to use at these and future events throughout the community.
“At the Perenchio Foundation, we recognize that powerful artistic experiences require robust infrastructure,” the Foundation shared. “Behind every transcendent performance, engaging exhibition or transformative workshop lies essential physical and digital systems that must function flawlessly to support creative excellence.”
This grant is a vital investment in Grand Vision’s participation in the local and regional arts scene. The new production gear will improve the experience of performing artists, staff and community members.
We’re deeply grateful to the Perenchio Foundation for recognizing the importance of this work and for supporting the arts across Los Angeles County.
