Grand Vision is an arts non-profit located in San Pedro’s downtown Arts District. We present concerts at the 150-seat Grand Annex Music Hall; offer music education programs for youth and adults; and provide marketing support for the historic Warner Grand Theatre. Through the LA County Arts Internship Program, we are seeking an undergraduate student for a paid $17.87/hr, 400 hour MARKETING & PUBLICITY intern position. This is a 20hr/week position starting as early as July 8, 2025 and continuing into December as hours permit. Hours take place on site and during the day. Applicants must attend school in L.A. County or have a permanent address in L.A. County. (Students who graduate in spring 2026 are also eligible.)

Background
Grand Vision Foundation was formed to save the historic Warner Grand Theatre and create an arts hub in the LA Harbor Area. Today, our main projects are: an annual live music and event series at the Grand Annex Music Hall, a 150-seat listening room theater in the heart of San Pedro’s Arts District; Meet the Music, an in-school music program for elementary school students; and continued preservation and promotional support for the Warner Grand.

The Project

The Marketing Intern will work closely with staff to develop, research and write creative promotional materials, e-newsletters and blog articles to promote Grand Vision’s 2025-26 concert and event calendar. Secondary projects include data entry, ticket sales and event and office support.

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has interests in marketing, communication, civic engagement and/or live music event promotion
  • Has a high level of oral and written communication skills
  • Has research and synthesis skills. Enjoys telling and writing a good story
  • Is comfortable using popular social media platforms, including creating and posting short videos
  • Is fluent with Microsoft Office programs and Google Drive
  • Is self-motivated, able to ask questions, and to work independently
