Show your love for the historic Warner Grand Theatre by adopting a seat. A brass plaque with the name of your choice will be affixed to a seat at the Theatre. Funds benefit Grand Vision’s campaign to restore the Theatre’s main lobby to its original art deco glory.
The Warner Grand Theatre is an Art Deco masterpiece. The main auditorium and mezzanine lobby endure as stunning examples of early 20th Century movie palace design. The main lobby, on the other hand, needs love. At an unknown time, perhaps as a result of paint deterioration or changing styles of decor, the main lobby’s decorative ceiling and wall features were covered in off-white paint. Grand Vision Foundation enlisted LeGrande Studios, a professional paint restoration company, to advise on the project. In 2019, LeGrande carefully revealed small sections of original paint on the lobby’s ceiling. As a result, we examined the ceiling’s condition and sought bids for a complete restoration. Experts estimate the total cost of painting restoration at $350,000. With the help of our community, we are almost halfway to this goal. You can join the Love the Lobby campaign by adopting a seat in the Theatre! Together we will restore much of the Warner Grand Theatre’s main lobby, and recapture its original grandeur. Visitors will experience the theater’s magic and feel the excitement the minute they walk in the front doors!
