The Pageant of the Arts High School Scholarship Competition will take place on Wednesday, March 10, 2027, from 5 to 8 PM at the Grand Annex Music Hall in San Pedro.
This competition is open to high school students in the following categories:
- Visual Art in 2D and 3D (theme: to be announced soon)
- Music – Instrumental
- Music – Vocal
- Dance
- Speech (theme: to be announced soon)
Music and Speech contestants are limited to a maximum of 6 minutes.
Dance contestants are limited to a maximum of 3 minutes. You may perform to a backing track or live accompaniment.
Sound equipment: Microphones, D.I., music stand and a keyboard are available. If you will be performing with a backing track, you can use the aux cord to connect your smartphone to the sound system. The Aux cord is compatible with Apple devices that use a lightning connector or devices that use a USBC connector.
Why encourage your students to apply?
- Cash prizes in each category.
- First-place winners advance to district finals, with the chance to win up to $1,000. The First Place in each contest receives a $1,000 cash prize; Second Place $500; and Third Place $250.
- A chance to perform or present work in a supportive, community-centered setting
Parents, family and friends are welcome to attend.
