Nashville singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Cristina Vane has earned praise from the likes of American Songwriter and Rolling Stone Country. Influenced by Robert Johnson, Blind Willie Johnson and Alanis Morissette and powered by her signature take on blues and rock, she’s recently taken a deep dive into old-time and bluegrass music, adding clawhammer banjo to her arsenal of instruments.
Vane uses music to express her relationship with identity, place and belonging. Her latest album, Make Myself Me Again, reflects her tenacious resilience as she documents her quest to find strength and independence in a new town.
