Strings in Schools: Violins

Inspiring our Next Generation through Music!
Strings in Schools is a specialized program targeted to our youngest elementary students, starting them on an advanced track that can lead to instrumental mastery in their elementary years.

“I loved going [to RoMP] because I learned about music like pitch, rhythm, tempo, melody, steady beat and about dynamics. I am now confident enough to perform in front of many people. I learned about other cultures and their history. I learned many songs and how people make some instruments.”

Miranda H.

4th Grade Student, Gulf Ave Elementary School

“I enjoyed playing recorders because I now know that I can do anything I want to do if I set my mind to it which is called ‘Growth Mindset.’ When I get called on it makes me happy because I can show others, and I feel comfortable because I have supportive classmates and teachers!”
