Just announced! The Night Train Music Club (NTMC) surprise guest performers on September 29 will include Teresa James and Dan Navarro.
Blues Queen Teresa James moves effortlessly from Texas-style grease and blues into Memphis soul or New Orleans-flavored grooves and all points in between. Levon Helm of The Band said, “Teresa James is a true original. When she sings you can feel it in your bones.” She has toured and recorded with critically-acclaimed musicians like Randy Newman, Smokey Robinson, Neil Diamond, Bonnie Raitt, Tower of Power and more.
A songwriter, composer and voice actor wrapped into one ambitious artist, Dan Navarro has had an eclectic career including 17 acclaimed albums, thousands of concerts, Oscar-winning films “Coco” and “Happy Feet,” and writing hits like Pat Benatar’s Grammy-nominated We Belong. His credits also include writing for The Bangles and The Temptations, singing for movies like “Encanto” (including Oscar-nominated Best Song Dos Oruguitas, and #1 hit We Don’t Talk About Bruno) and recording with artists like Neil Young and Andrea Bocelli.
