Parade with Team Taiko!
Team Taiko is joining the San Pedro Holiday Parade on Sunday, December 6, 2025 from 12-3 PM.
Learn how to taiko in a parade, we will practice how to wear the drum and march while playing.
If you would like to drum in the parade please be sure to select your shirt size when you register.
If you would just like to attend the class to learn these taiko techniques please select the Class Only option.
Parade Session Classes:
- Monday, November 9 at 7:00 PM
- Monday, November 16 at 7:00 PM
- Monday, November 23 at 7:00 PM
- Monday, November 30 at 7:00 PM
Parade
- Sunday, December 6 at 12:00 PM (Meet at 11:30 AM)
Team Taiko is open to all skill levels and abilities, from beginners to seasoned musicians. Classes are recommended for ages 12 and up, children must either participate with a guardian or have a participation waiver signed before class.
Classes are offered in person and streamed live via Zoom to allow for all to participate.
About Class Fees & Sliding Scale:
- Team Taiko is designed to be $15 per person, so we can pay our teacher a fair wage.
- Attending at the higher price supports subsidized attendees and supports Team Taiko.
- We don’t want economic circumstances to be a barrier to attending so we offer tickets on a sliding scale.
- Pay the price that works for you.
- Your class experience will be the same regardless of which option you choose.
To Attend In Person:
- Please bring water and wear comfortable clothes. Taiko is a full-body practice
- Drums and drumsticks (bachi) will be provided for you.

- The Zoom link will be emailed to you with your receipt.
