David Farley is a Trombonist, Composer, and Bandleader born and raised in San Pedro CA. He attended CSUN where he studied with trombonists Scott Whitfield and Ido Meshulam, and got to perform with musicians such as John Daversa, Jason Moran, Orrin Evans, and Jon Hatamiya, as well as many more. He plays in multiple jazz bands including the Ron King big band.
He also leads his own bands, including a jazz combo called the David Farley Quintet and a trombone quintet called Bones of a Saint. He also co-led a big band called the Farley Rivera big band for a local music festival in Northridge using all original arrangements and compositions.
He is now preparing to get his master's degree in Jazz performance for USC.
