Syndee Winters is an acclaimed Broadway actress and rising vocal jazz artist, known for her powerful roles in smash-hit musicals. Her notable Broadway credits include starring as Nala in The Lion King and covering all three Schuyler Sisters in Hamilton, in addition to appearing in Motown: The Musical, The Wiz and Pippin. She has channeled her theatrical talent and deep jazz roots into her project Syndee Winters Sings Lena Horne, a performance that honors the legacy of the iconic jazz-blues singer, Lena Horne, with both
traditional and contemporary arrangements of classics like “Stormy Weather,” “If You Believe Me” and “Love Me or Leave Me.” In 2024, her virtuosic vocals earned her the title of 1st Runner-Up in the Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition.
