Holy Frit Film Screening with Tim Carey and Justin Monroe
Join us for a very special screening of the documentary film, Holy Frit, along with the glass artist, Tim Carey and filmmaker, Justin Monroe.
“In this visceral three-year race against time, Tim Carey, a talented, yet unknown LA artist bluffs his way into winning the commission to create the largest stained-glass window in the world. The problem is, he doesn’t know how to make it. After a desperate search, he finds someone who might have the answer… a famous, Italian glass maestro named Narcissus Quagliata. As the fates of three communities hang in the balance, Narcissus arrives like a storm, and everything changes.”
Holy Frit is a fascinating examination of the artist’s process, resulting in the largest stained glass window in the world.
Tim will be showing some of his art prints and we will be auctioning a tour of his studio.
