The Pageant of the Arts High School Scholarship Competition will take place on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, from 5 to 8 PM at the Grand Annex Music Hall in San Pedro.
This competition is open to high school students in the following categories:
- Visual Art (theme: “Doing Good in the World”)
- Music – Instrumental
- Music – Vocal
(Music performances are limited to 6 minutes; basic sound equipment is provided.)
Sound equipment: Microphones, D.I., music stand and a keyboard are available. If you will be performing with a backing track, you can use the aux cord to connect your smartphone to the sound system. The Aux cord is compatible with Apple devices that use a lightning connector or devices that use a USBC connector.
Why encourage your students to apply?
- Cash prizes in each category:
- 1st Place: $500
- 2nd Place: $300
- 3rd Place: $150
- First-place winners advance to district finals on May 2, 2026, with the chance to win up to $1,000.
- A chance to perform or present work in a supportive, community-centered setting
