Zig Zags
Eight years, seven singles, three albums, three bass players, two drummers and God knows how many shows later – Zig Zags has continually evolved, mutated, transitioned, and transformed, rising again and again, like a phoenix emerging from the flame.
Emerging from LA’s neo-psychedelic rock scene in 2017, reflecting California’s natural splendor and adventuresome spirit. The earthy sounds of the Byrds, the Beach Boys, and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young – and latter-day artists Rain Parade, Elliott Smith, and Autolux – come through in their music.
Alternating between dreamy and driving, dappled with delirious solos and seductive harmonies. The Blank Tapes radiates Ultraviolet Californian chords.
