Women’s Voices Now, an organization using film to drive social change that advances girls’ and women’s rights, is delighted to celebrate the 2024 Women’s Voices Now Film Festival, Leslie J. Sacks Grand Prize Winning film, ”Colliding Forces: Mothers in Ballet.” The documentary film by Eliza Schroeder (UK) enchantingly tells the story of five principal ballerinas, from around the world, intimately portraying how they navigate the competing and conflicting demands of their profession and motherhood.
The Women’s Voices Now Film Festival is an annual global women’s rights documentary film festival supporting emerging women filmmakers creating films that drive social change around the globe. This Leslie J. Sacks Grand Prize is named for the Founder of Women’s Voices Now, a visionary philanthropist, and Los Angeles-based art collector and dealer. This event also marks the 11th anniversary of Leslie’s passing and celebrates his legacy, which includes Women’s Voices Now.
