Roots of Music Program (RoMP) Online!
Welcome to RoMP Online! In this course you will explore the music and cultures of West Africa, the United States, and Mexico – making music while you travel the world! And you’ll get to connect history, science and ELA with what you learn through RoMP.
At the bottom of the page, you will find downloadable resources, including the RoMP Online! Student Workbook, Teacher’s “Classroom Connections” book, and Sing-Along Song videos to watch and sing along with. Please download the Student Workbook to guide you though the course. Now you’re ready to begin! You will complete a video lesson each week, depending on your school’s schedule. After each lesson, complete its Exit Ticket by clicking the link below each video. An answer key will be provided to your teacher. We hope you enjoy becoming a musician!
