Rose’s Pawn Shop makes Americana-Folk-Rock music inflected with the pulsing, vibrant energy of their hometown Los Angeles, interwoven with strains of old-time Appalachian folk, country, and bluegrass, and infused with poetic lyrics gleaned from hard lessons learned and years on the road. A devoted fan base and critical praise has followed the evolution of the band from their first release, the rootsy, bluegrass-heavy The Arsonist to the break-neck roots-rock of Dancing on the Gallows to 2014’s soulful Gravity Well. In May 2022, RPS signed a two-record deal with KZZ Music in Los Angeles. Their record, 'Punch-Drunk Life,' was released in 2023.
