BaoBao Chen is co-producer for Small Island Big Song. She has garnered grant funding and done extensive grassroots outreach to bring this project to life – as well as participated in many of the creative aspects of the production. Importantly, she has incorporated a Fair Trade Music structure to balance the benefits of the project for all those involved in its creation and use. 

BaoBao is a vivid storyteller, fluent in English and Mandarin and has expertise in fundraising, publicity and writing. Throughout her professional career, she’s planned and managed tours across the USA and Europe. BaoBao has a social media following of 150K+, and has been invited to present at numerous conferences and festivals including TEDx, FestPac – Guam, Peace Boat – Japan, Taipei Arts Festival and Stanford University.

Getting her start as a young community advocate through the Jane Goodall Foundation’s Roots & Shoots program, she is now one of the most prominent producers of cross-cultural arts projects in Taiwan.
