DESCRIPTION:For 46 years\, this festive tradition brings families\, little leagues\, scouts\, students\, high school bands\, equestrian units\, and volunteers to downtown San Pedro to celebrate the holiday season and our community. More than 12\,000 individuals will line the streets to view the parade. \nThe parade route starts at 13th & Pacific\, makes a right on 6th Street\, marches past the Grand Annex and then ends on 6th & Palos Verdes. Grand Vision’s Team Taiko will be marching as part of the parade! \nThis event is presented by the San Pedro Chamber of Commerce and is a free event to the community. \n​

DESCRIPTION:​Presented by Grand Vision & the San Pedro Chamber of Commerce. \nSneak peek of the freshly renovated Theatre’s Main Lobby and more. Meet and mix with San Pedro’s business and arts communities and historic theater enthusiasts! Includes one drink\, generous appetizers\, a no host bar and a chance to see the many improvements in the main lobby. \nThe program starts at 6:30 PM. Attendance will be limited due to available space\, so get your tickets right away! \nHear the latest updates from local presenters and dignitaries\, including Councilmember Tim McOsker. Sit in on a rehearsal of a scene from San Pedro City Ballet’s Nutcracker. \nProceeds benefit Grand Vision Foundation’s efforts to support the Warner Grand Theatre. \nThis is a special holiday community event made possible by Councilman Tim McOsker and the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs. Theatre renovation may not be complete and access throughout the building will be limited. \nThe Warner Grand Theatre is owned and operated by the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs. Grand Vision has served as the Friends Group to the Warner Grand Theatre since 1996. As the Friends\, we assist the theater with marketing\, restoration\, volunteer activities and public advocacy. \nGrand Vision successfully advocated for the City of Los Angeles to commit to a major renovation of the Warner Grand Theatre so it can be enjoyed for generations to come. \nOn January 1st\, 2024\, the City temporarily closed the theatre for essential upgrades\, including ADA accessibility\, plumbing\, electrical\, and earthquake retrofitting – all the while keeping the beautiful historic elements of the theater intact.

DESCRIPTION:Musicians & Poets!\n\nCome on down to the Grand Annex on the second Thursday of each month for Open Mic Night!\n\nHosted by: Ken Creighton\n\nTo perform:\n\nSign ups start at 6:30 PM.\nThe first 12 sign-ups are guaranteed to perform\, with additional artists as time allows.\nPlan to do 2 songs/poems (limit stage time to under 8 minutes).\nMicrophones\, D.I.\, music stand and a keyboard are available. If you will be performing with a backing track\, you can use the aux cord to connect your smartphone to the sound system. The Aux cord is compatible with Apple devices that use a lightning connector.\nThis is an all-ages show; all ages and genres are welcome to perform.\n\nTo keep the space welcoming for all ages\, please keep your act appropriate for all ages. Avoid rants\, blue comedy and punching down. Inappropriate acts will be removed from the stage and banned from future performances. \n\n\n\nSpecial Collaboration:\nSaigon Oi will be selling dinner during Open Mic Night. You can order their delicious food right from your table with no added delivery fees.
