SUMMARY:TEAM TAIKO Drum Classes Summer Session
DESCRIPTION:Play the Japanese Drum with Team Taiko! \nTeam Taiko classes are broken into 8-week sessions\, with a different pattern taught during each session. Team Taiko can be purchased by session or by class. \nTeam Taiko is open to all skill levels and abilities\, from beginners to seasoned musicians. Classes are recommended for ages 12 and up\, children must either participate with a guardian or have a participation waiver signed before class. \nClasses are offered in person and streamed live via Zoom to allow for all to participate. \nSummer Session Mondays at 6:30 PM July 6 – August 24: \nTeam Taiko classes are broken into 8-week sessions\, with a different pattern taught during each session. Team Taiko can be purchased by session or by class. \n\nMonday\, July 6 – 6:30 PM\nMonday\, July 13 – 6:30 PM\nMonday\, July 20 – 6:30 PM\nMonday\, July 27 – 6:30 PM\nMonday\, August 3 – 6:30 PM\nMonday\, August 10 – 6:30 PM\nMonday\, August 17 – 6:30 PM\nMonday\, August 24 – 6:30 PM\n\nAbout Class Fees & Sliding Scale: \n\nTeam Taiko is designed to be $15 per person\, so we can pay our teacher a fair wage.\nAttending at the higher price supports subsidized attendees and supports Team Taiko.\nWe don’t want economic circumstances to be a barrier to attending so we offer tickets on a sliding scale and additional scholarships as needed.\nPay the price that works for you.\nYour class experience will be the same regardless of which option you choose.\n\nTo Attend In Person: \n\nPlease bring water and wear comfortable clothes. Taiko is a full-body practice.\nBachi (drumsticks) will be provided for you.\n\nTo Attend Virtually: \n\nThe Zoom link will be emailed to you with your receipt.\nLearn how to make your own practice drum here.
