DESCRIPTION:Play the Japanese Drum with Team Taiko!\nTeam Taiko classes are broken into 8-week sessions\, with a different pattern taught during each session. Team Taiko can be purchased by session or by class. \nThis Team Taiko session will end with a performance opportunity as the opening act during VISIBLE – Mujo Dream Flight in Concert ft. Aki Oshiro\, on Saturday\, April 4 at 4 PM. \nTeam Taiko is open to all skill levels and abilities\, from beginners to seasoned musicians. Classes are recommended for ages 12 and up\, children must either participate with a guardian or have a participation waiver signed before class. \nClasses are offered in person and streamed live via Zoom to allow for all to participate. \nWinter Session Mondays at 6:30 PM February 9 – March 30: \nTeam Taiko classes are broken into 8-week sessions\, with a different pattern taught during each session. DESCRIPTION:Musicians & Poets!\n\nCome on down to the Grand Annex on the second Thursday of each month for Open Mic Night!\n\nHosted by: Ken Creighton\n\nTo perform:\n\nSign ups start at 6:30 PM.\nThe first 12 sign-ups are guaranteed to perform\, with additional artists as time allows.\nPlan to do 2 songs/poems (limit stage time to under 8 minutes).\nMicrophones\, D.I.\, music stand and a keyboard are available. If you will be performing with a backing track\, you can use the aux cord to connect your smartphone to the sound system. The Aux cord is compatible with Apple devices that use a lightning connector.\nThis is an all-ages show; all ages and genres are welcome to perform.\n\nTo keep the space welcoming for all ages\, please keep your act appropriate for all ages. Avoid rants\, blue comedy and punching down. Inappropriate acts will be removed from the stage and banned from future performances.

His pioneering band perfectly combines his love for music\, the sea and the legacy of the seafaring storytelling. \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				And\, just so we’re all clear\, in addition to being a multi-instrumentalist and lead guitar player\, John Kraus really is a captain – for many years at the helm of one of the LA Maritime Institute’s stunning Tall Ships! \nThe Goers are: Tim Weed on violin\, David Dutton on the drums and jazz legend Bob Aul on fiddle and tuba. Paul Givant of Rose’s Pawn Shop shows up frequently to play guitar and banjo.
