SUMMARY:TEAM TAIKO Drum Classes Winter Session
DESCRIPTION:Play the Japanese Drum with Team Taiko!\nTeam Taiko classes are broken into 8-week sessions\, with a different pattern taught during each session. Team Taiko can be purchased by session or by class. \nThis Team Taiko session will end with a performance opportunity as the opening act during VISIBLE – Mujo Dream Flight in Concert ft. Aki Oshiro\, on Saturday\, April 4 at 4 PM. \nTeam Taiko is open to all skill levels and abilities\, from beginners to seasoned musicians. Classes are recommended for ages 12 and up\, children must either participate with a guardian or have a participation waiver signed before class. \nClasses are offered in person and streamed live via Zoom to allow for all to participate. \nWinter Session Mondays at 6:30 PM February 9 – March 30: \nTeam Taiko classes are broken into 8-week sessions\, with a different pattern taught during each session. Featuring live music by musicians from the San Pedro Musicians Directory and art by fINdings Art Center. \nLocal musician Dustin Case brings the best of two musical worlds\, known for both his heartfelt acoustic storytelling and raw punk energy. His acoustic sets carry a lyrical and vulnerable essence\, while his fierce stage presence and aggressive vocal style embody the spirit of Los Angeles punk. \nfINdings Art Center\, in collaboration with Grand Vision’s Annex Arts Saloon\, presents “Ride On!” by artists Jess Star and Karena Massengill\, curated by Henry Krusoe. \nHenry Krusoe is an Otis College graduate and has been an Angels Gate Cultural Center resident artist since 2019\, creating multimedia artwork spanning analog and digital formats. \nNo-host bar open. Outside food is welcome.

This intermittent concert series brings the magic of live music to venues across San Pedro. Proceeds from this event support Grand Vision’s Meet the Music youth education program\, and continued live music programming at the Grand Annex Music Hall. \nVIP Reception 6:00 PM / Meet & Greet 6:30 PM \nVIP Ticket holders are invited to attend the pre-concert reception and Meet & Greet with the band. \nVIP Tickets include light appetizers\, desserts\, one complimentary drink and access to a private no-host bar before the concert. \nConcert Directions \nThe concert will be at the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium complex in the John Olguin Auditorium.
