SUMMARY:TEAM TAIKO Drum Classes Fall Session
DESCRIPTION:Team Taiko classes are divided into 8-week sessions\, with a different pattern taught in each session. They can be purchased by session or by class. \nTeam Taiko is open to all skill levels and abilities\, from beginners to seasoned musicians. Classes are recommended for ages 12 and up\, children must either participate with a guardian or have a participation waiver signed before class. \nClasses are offered in person and streamed live via Zoom to allow for all to participate. \nFall Session Mondays at 7 PM September 8 – October 27: \nTeam Taiko classes are divided into 8-week sessions\, with a different pattern taught in each session. They can be purchased by session or by class. \n\nMonday\, September 8 – 7 PM\nMonday\, September 15 – 7 PM\nMonday\, September 22 – 7 PM\nMonday\, September 29 – 7 PM\nMonday\, October 6 – 7 PM\nMonday\, October 13 – 7 PM\nMonday\, October 20 – 7 PM\nMonday\, October 27 – 7 PM\n\nAbout Class Fees & Sliding Scale: \nTeam Taiko is designed to be $15 per person\, but we don’t want economic circumstances to be a barrier to attending so we offer tickets on a sliding scale. Pay the price that works for you. Your class experience will be the same regardless of which option you choose. \nTo Attend In Person: \n\nPlease bring water and wear comfortable clothes. Hometown heroes of their musical city\, they founded the Portland Folk Festival: an annual celebration of the sounds of Americana at the iconic Crystal Ballroom. \nTheir fourth album\, Long Time Honey\, is a collaboration with esteemed songwriter Greg Holden and was awarded Best Folk/Americana Album of 2024 by the PNW Music Awards.
