The SoCal-based ensemble features seven Zimbabwean marimbas\, vocals\, drums\, percussion and brass. They’ve performed at the Hollywood Bowl\, the Getty Center\, and the Ford Amphitheatre\, and have opened for renowned artists such as Neil Young\, Norah Jones\, and Ziggy Marley. \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Grita Marimba (pictured)\, the premier youth marimba ensemble from Play Marimba in Sonoma County\, opens the show. SUMMARY:TEAM TAIKO Drum Classes Summer Session
DESCRIPTION:Team Taiko classes are divided into 8-week sessions\, with a different pattern taught in each session. They can be purchased by session or by class. \n  \nTeam Taiko is open to all skill levels and abilities\, from beginners to seasoned musicians. Classes are recommended for ages 12 and up; children must either participate with a guardian or have a participation waiver signed before class. \nClasses are offered in person and streamed live via Zoom to allow for all to participate. \nSummer Session: Mondays at 7 PM\, June 30 – August 18 \nTeam Taiko classes are divided into 8-week sessions\, with a different pattern taught in each session. They can be purchased by session or by class. \n\nMonday\, June 30 – 7 PM\nMonday\, July 7 – 7 PM\nMonday\, July 14 – 7 PM\nMonday\, July 21 – 7 PM\nMonday\, July 28 – 7 PM\nMonday\, August 4 – 7 PM\nMonday\, August 11 – 7 PM\nMonday\, August 18 – 7 PM\n\nAbout Class Fees & Sliding Scale: \nTeam Taiko is designed to be $15 per person\, but we don’t want economic circumstances to be a barrier to attending so we offer tickets on a sliding scale. Pay the price that works for you. Your class experience will be the same regardless of which option you choose. \nTo Attend In Person: \n\nPlease bring water and wear comfortable clothes.
