SUMMARY:TEAM TAIKO Drum Classes Summer Session
DESCRIPTION:Team Taiko classes are divided into 8-week sessions\, with a different pattern taught in each session. They can be purchased by session or by class. \n  \nTeam Taiko is open to all skill levels and abilities\, from beginners to seasoned musicians. Classes are recommended for ages 12 and up; children must either participate with a guardian or have a participation waiver signed before class. \nClasses are offered in person and streamed live via Zoom to allow for all to participate. \nSummer Session: Mondays at 7 PM\, June 30 – August 18 \nTeam Taiko classes are divided into 8-week sessions\, with a different pattern taught in each session. They can be purchased by session or by class. \n\nMonday\, June 30 – 7 PM\nMonday\, July 7 – 7 PM\nMonday\, July 14 – 7 PM\nMonday\, July 21 – 7 PM\nMonday\, July 28 – 7 PM\nMonday\, August 4 – 7 PM\nMonday\, August 11 – 7 PM\nMonday\, August 18 – 7 PM\n\nAbout Class Fees & Sliding Scale: \nTeam Taiko is designed to be $15 per person\, but we don’t want economic circumstances to be a barrier to attending so we offer tickets on a sliding scale. Pay the price that works for you. Your class experience will be the same regardless of which option you choose. \nTo Attend In Person: \n\nPlease bring water and wear comfortable clothes. Taiko is a full-body practice.\nDrumsticks (bachi) will be provided for you.\n\nTo Attend Virtually: \n\nThe Zoom link will be emailed to you with your receipt.\nLearn how to make your own practice drum here.

If you will be performing with a backing track\, you can use the aux cord to connect your smartphone to the sound system. The Aux cord is compatible with Apple devices that use a lightning connector.\nThis is an all-ages show; all ages and genres are welcome to perform.\n\nTo keep the space welcoming for all ages\, please keep your act appropriate for all ages. Avoid rants\, blue comedy and punching down. Inappropriate acts will be removed from the stage and banned from future performances.
