DESCRIPTION:Holy Frit Film Screening with Tim Carey and Justin Monroe \nJoin us for a very special screening of the documentary film\, Holy Frit\, along with the glass artist\, Tim Carey and filmmaker\, Justin Monroe. \n“In this visceral three-year race against time\, Tim Carey\, a talented\, yet unknown LA artist bluffs his way into winning the commission to create the largest stained-glass window in the world. The problem is\, he doesn’t know how to make it. After a desperate search\, he finds someone who might have the answer… a famous\, Italian glass maestro named Narcissus Quagliata. As the fates of three communities hang in the balance\, Narcissus arrives like a storm\, and everything changes.” \nHoly Frit is a fascinating examination of the artist’s process\, resulting in the largest stained glass window in the world. \nTim will be showing some of his art prints and we will be auctioning a tour of his studio. \nThis event is presented by the San Pedro Waterfront Arts District.\nPlease contact the event producer for all questions related to this event.

SUMMARY:TEAM TAIKO Drum Classes Spring Session
DESCRIPTION:Team Taiko classes are divided into 8-week sessions\, with a different pattern taught in each session. They can be purchased by session or by class. \n  \nTeam Taiko is open to all skill levels and abilities\, from beginners to seasoned musicians. Classes are recommended for ages 12 and up\, children must either participate with a guardian or have a participation waiver signed before class. \nClasses are offered in person and streamed live via Zoom to allow for all to participate. \nSpring Session Mondays at 7 PM April 21 – June 9: \nTeam Taiko classes are divided into 8-week sessions\, with a different pattern taught in each session. They can be purchased by session or by class. \n\nMonday\, April 21 – 7 PM\nMonday\, April 28 – 7 PM\nMonday\, May 5 – 7 PM\nMonday\, May 12 – 7 PM\nMonday\, May 19 – 7 PM\nMonday\, May 26 – 7 PM\nMonday\, June 2 – 7 PM\nMonday\, June 9 – 7 PM\n\nAbout Class Fees & Sliding Scale: \nTeam Taiko is designed to be $15 per person\, but we don’t want economic circumstances to be a barrier to attending so we offer tickets on a sliding scale. Pay the price that works for you. Your class experience will be the same regardless of which option you choose. \nTo Attend In Person: \n\nPlease bring water and wear comfortable clothes.
