Come play with us! \nTaiko is a Japanese traditional drumming practice that\, over the last several decades\, has become a global phenomenon. Since 2013\, Grand Vision has partnered with leading taiko instructors to bring the art form to the South Bay. \nTaiko Artist Man Man Mui guides participants toward a repertoire of drumming techniques and patterns. Sessions include developing rhythmic sensibility\, body awareness\, breath and strength training as students make music together as a team. \nTeam Taiko is open to all skill levels and abilities\, from beginners to seasoned musicians\, and fees are on a sliding scale. Hear Pride and Joy\, Crossfire\, House is a Rockin’\, Texas Flood and many more. \nWhen Stevie Ray Visited bandleader Roby Duron was 12\, his dad\, a rockin’ Doors-influenced pianist\, taught him to play a few chords\, igniting Duron’s love for playing the blues\, especially the music of Stevie Ray Vaughan. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Today\, Duron has mastered Vaughan’s style\, and the band’s keyboardist Noel Deis actually played with Vaughan himself\, adding even more authenticity to the Stevie Ray Visited live shows.
