DESCRIPTION:Mikaela Kai Flamenco’s 12th Recital\nRENACER – Como Una Ola En El Mar (Flamenco for a better world)\n\n\nYou can’t miss the outstanding performance of Barcelona native flamenco artists\, Paco Arroyo and Yolanda Arroyo. Paco’s virtuoso playing guitar\, and Yolanda’s heart-moving dance\, singing\, and transcendental technique in castanets\, will surely fascinate all audiences with a standing ovation. The show will also feature three talented local flamenco dancers and MKF’s dancers. \nThe charity is Mikaela Kai Flamenco’s ongoing flamenco fundraiser project called FLAMENCO POR UN MUNDO MEJOR (Flamenco for a better world). Mikaela Kai Flamenco has successfully raised over $12\,000 for the disaster-affected areas in Japan through the project. DESCRIPTION:We believe in creating unique opportunities for people to meet their neighbors and engage in their community in a new way. Come play with us! \nTaiko is a Japanese traditional drumming practice that\, over the last several decades\, has become a global phenomenon. Since 2013\, Grand Vision has partnered with leading taiko instructors to bring the art form to the South Bay. \nTaiko Artist Man Man Mui guides participants toward a repertoire of drumming techniques and patterns. Sessions include developing rhythmic sensibility\, body awareness\, breath and strength training as students make music together as a team. \nTeam Taiko is open to all skill levels and abilities\, from beginners to seasoned musicians\, and fees are on a sliding scale.
