DESCRIPTION:Little Italy of Los Angeles Association\, with support from Councilmember Joe Buscaino CD 15\, is proud to host the screening of Luciano Pavarotti’s 1970 performance of “Messa da Requiem” by Giuseppe Verdi \nThis free event is part of a multi-day celebration recognizing the late great tenor\, as he posthumously receives a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The screening will also include an official proclamation from the City of Los Angeles to the family of Pavarotti and a new short film\, “Luciano Pavarotti\, The Star” by the Italian artist and director\, Gianluigi Toccafondo. \nThe Pavarotti Family will be in attendance with James Conlon\, Music Director of LA Opera\, who will be introducing The Requiem to the public. The screening will also be attended by Representatives of Comune di Pesaro (Italian Capital of Culture in 2024)\, the Rossini Opera Festival and the Pesaro Capitale della Cultura Committee. \nFREE and open to the public with registration and Covid vaccination or proof of negative test with 48 hours before show. This event will contribute to strengthen the relationship that the San Pedro community has with Italy.

DESCRIPTION:Dance Tech debuts its youth company Port de Ballet in their Spring 2022 recital of ballet\, jazz\, tap\, hip hop\, and baby tumbling!  Two shows only at 2pm & 6pm – general admission tickets are $15 & $20 in advance when you email  dancetechenrollment@gmail.com. $25 at the door. \nCovid-19 Safety at the Warner Grand Theatre \nAs of 5/2/22 \n\nAnyone wishing to enter the venue at any time\, for any reason\, must present a printed or digital card indicating that they have completed a one or two-shot vaccination series (Moderna or Pfizer\, and others) at least 14 days before entry to the theater. These folks must show their vaccination record and\, if over 18\, their state-issued picture ID at the door. If not yet fully vaccinated\, they may present a printed or digital NEGATIVE test result – a PCR test within the previous 48 hours or a rapid Antigen test within the previous 24 hours.  Home tests are not sufficient.  For a list of free testing sites (if you are insured or uninsured)\, please visit https://dhs.lacounty.gov/covid-19/testing/.\n\nThose who are fully vaccinated (not including boosters) at least 14 days before the event\, do not need to wear a mask inside\, although they can choose to do so.\n\n\nAll others wishing to enter must show a printed or digital negative test result – within 48 hours for a PCR test\, or within 24 hours for a rapid antigen test.  Either test result must be issued by a licensed lab or professional; home tests are not accepted. They must also wear a mask while inside.\n\n\nThe Covid-19 rules are in flux.
