SUMMARY:Mustangs of the West
DESCRIPTION:Trailblazing all-women quintet deliver sparkling\, powerful and irresistible Country-Americana! Mustangs of the West first made waves at the famed Palomino club in the late 1980s\, when it was ground zero for the post-cowpunk California country scene. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n After a 20-year hiatus\, founding member and lead guitarist Sherry Rayn Barnett reunited the group with original members Suzanna Spring (lead vocalist/songwriter/acoustic guitarist) and Holly Montgomery (bassist/vocalist). The new lineup was finalized with Aubrey Richmond (fiddle/mandolin/vocals) and Suzanne Morissette Cruz (drums/percussion/vocals). \nWith their new Americana country sound\, their albums — the first of which was produced by the acclaimed Mark Howard (Bob Dylan\, Lucinda Williams\, Willie Nelson\, Emmylou Harris) — have received excellent reviews. Their 2024 record “Down At The Palomino” topped the Roots Radio Report charts for 18 weeks. \nLast year\, the group performed at SXSW as official artists\, AmericanaFest in Nashville\, and headlined at The Bankhead Theatre in Northern California. This year\, they returned to Nashville for live shows at 3rd & Lindsley and on WMOT-FM (billed with Chris Smither). \nThe Mustangs of the West are: \n\nSuzanna Spring\nSherry Rayn Barnett\nHolly Montgomery\nSuzanne Morissette\nAubrey Richmond

SUMMARY:T Sisters & Wine Tasting🍷
DESCRIPTION:Twins Rachel and Chloe Tietjen and their older sister Erika offer up potent lyricism and catchy melodies from stunning a cappella harmonies to pop to groovy indie folk. \nThe sisters’ contemporary yet classic sound invites comparisons to modern family bands like the Avett Brothers and First Aid Kit. With their soaring sibling harmonies\, sassy stage presence and inventive songwriting\, these three sisters bring a soulful take on folk/Americana music.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n In 2019\, T Sisters participated in American Musicians Abroad\, a selective State Department-sponsored program fostering diplomacy through music. The sisters performed and conducted workshops in the Middle East and North Africa emphasizing girls empowerment and the role of music in creating social awareness and change. \nRachel (vox\, guitar\, banjo)\, Chloe (vox\, percussion) and Erika (vox\, guitar) are all songwriters in their own right and switch off on lead vocals. While their voices blend seamlessly\, each has a distinct singing and writing style that results in an eclectic repertoire unified by a landscape of close harmonies.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n 🍷Pre-Concert Wine Tasting\nTaste fine wines. SUMMARY:Danny Hamilton "The Knocking" Record Release Concert
DESCRIPTION:Danny Hamilton\, the acclaimed singer-songwriter known for his soulful blend of blues\, roots\, country\, and gritty rock n’ roll\, released his latest album\, “The Knocking\,” on May 3. Marking his most hard-hitting work to date\, “The Knocking” serves as a testament to Hamilton’s profound musical journey and his intimate relationship with the depths of the human spirit. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n A sonic odyssey through the landscapes of the low country\, “The Knocking” invites listeners on a sprawling\, episodic adventure from the very first notes of “Down the Line.” With Hamilton as both narrator and companion\, the album navigates peaks and valleys\, both metaphorically and literally\, offering a conceptual journey that resonates with authenticity and emotional depth. \nCrafted with a powerful mix of keys\, guitars\, harmonica\, and other Americana-tinged elements\, “The Knocking” showcases Hamilton’s prowess in creating aural landscapes that are as rich as they are evocative. His vocals\, more formidable and intentional than ever\, intertwine seamlessly with the instrumentation\, resulting in a release that traverses a broad emotional spectrum with ease. \nAt its core\, “The Knocking” is unabashedly raw and unapologetically rock-infused. Tracks like “Jump On These Blues” and “Stick & Stone” ignite a fiery energy that permeates the entire album\, offering a captivating blend of intensity and introspection. \n“The Knocking” emerges as a masterful fusion of musical elements\, evolving from its humble beginnings into something elemental and grand. It is a testament to Hamilton’s artistry and a testament to the transformative power of music. \nWith “The Knocking\,” Danny Hamilton delivers yet another masterpiece that demands to be heard\, offering an experience that resonates long after the final notes fade away. \n  \nThis event is presented by Danny Hamilton. \nPlease contact the event producer for all questions related to this event.
