Paco’s virtuoso playing guitar and Yolanda’s heart-moving dancing\, singing and transcendental technique in castanets will surely fascinate all audiences with a standing ovation. Three talented local flamenco dancers and MKF’s dancers and musicians will also be featured in the show. \nThis year’s theme is “Spain.” Flamenco is a folk art form that originated in the Andalusia region of southern Spain\, and the Romani\, a migratory people\, played a major role in its history and development. As an art form created by wandering peoples through a fusion of various music and rhythms\, it resonates with a diverse range of people\, bringing familiarity\, nostalgia and melancholy; in 2010\, it was included in UNESCO’s list of Spain’s Intangible Cultural Heritage.
