Directed by Renee O’Connor. \nA Midsummer Night’s Dream\, by William Shakespeare \nOpening Date(s): April 21\, 2023\nClosing Date(s): May 7\, 2023 \nPerformances Dates: April 21\, 22\, 23\, 28\, 29\, 30\, and May 5\, 6\, 7. \nFRIDAYS\, SATURDAYS\, 7:30 PM\nSUNDAYS 2:00 PM \nFounded in 2019 by O’Connor\, the House of Bards Theatre Company opened in San Pedro at the Grand Annex with an intimate version of Shakespeare’s Macbeth. The production received rave reviews for their unique and powerful portrayal of the three Weird Sister characters. \nActor/director/filmmaker Renee O’Connor is best known for playing Gabrielle\, Xena’s trusted sidekick on the popular series Xena: Warrior Princess from 1996-2001 as well as other film\, television and stage roles.
