The Grand Annex will be closed\, but we encourage you to check out the art shows\, food and events around the downtown area. The Annex Art Saloon will return on October 1\, 2026. \nLocal musician Dustin Case brings the best of two musical worlds\, known for both his heartfelt acoustic storytelling and raw punk energy. His acoustic sets carry a lyrical and vulnerable essence\, while his fierce stage presence and aggressive vocal style embody the spirit of Los Angeles punk. \nKnown for his Texas-tinged Americana covers and originals\, Chris Huff can often be found at local coffee shops and festivals. With his daughter Emily\, Chris emcees the First Thursday Art Saloon at the Grand Annex and occasionally hosts the Second Thursday Open Mic Nights as well.

DESCRIPTION:Play the Japanese Drum with Team Taiko! \nTeam Taiko classes are broken into 8-week sessions\, with a different pattern taught during each session. Team Taiko can be purchased by session or by class. \nTeam Taiko is open to all skill levels and abilities\, from beginners to seasoned musicians. Classes are recommended for ages 12 and up\, children must either participate with a guardian or have a participation waiver signed before class. \nClasses are offered in person and streamed live via Zoom to allow for all to participate. \nFall Session Mondays at 6:30 PM September 7 – October 26: \nTeam Taiko classes are broken into 8-week sessions\, with a different pattern taught during each session. If you will be performing with a backing track\, you can use the aux cord to connect your smartphone to the sound system. The Aux cord is compatible with Apple devices that use a lightning connector.\nThis is an all-ages show; all ages and genres are welcome to perform.\n\nTo keep the space welcoming for all ages\, please keep your act appropriate for all ages. Avoid rants\, blue comedy and punching down. Inappropriate acts will be removed from the stage and banned from future performances. \n\n\nSpecial Restaurant Pop-up:\n\nSaigon Oi Cafe will be selling dinner during Open Mic Night. You can order their delicious food and coffee right from your table with no added delivery fees.
