Considered by many to be the perfect musical comedy\, Guys and Dolls ran for 1\,200 performances when it opened on Broadway in 1950. This romantic comedy set in Damon Runyon’s mythical New York City features Frank Loesser’s brassy\, immortal score and such crowd-pleasing songs as “Luck Be A Lady”\, “Sue Me”\, “I’ve Never Been In Love Before”\, and the show-stopping “Sit Down\, You’re Rockin’ the Boat”. Guys and Dolls takes us from the heart of Times Square to the cafes of Havana\, and even into the sewers of New York City\, but eventually\, everyone ends up right where they belong. \nPerformances at 7PM. \n

Avoid rants\, blue comedy and punching down. Inappropriate acts will be removed from the stage and banned from future performances.\nMicrophones\, D.I.\, music stand and keyboard available. You can use the aux cord to connect your smartphone if you will be performing with a backing track. They will be joined by the Baroque & Early Classical group “Four Seasons Camerata” under the Direction of Zun-Hin Woo ( Associate Conductor of Symphony Irvine and the Temecula Valley Symphony.) \nThe program will consist of two sections: \nPart One: \nSelections from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons – Featuring virtuoso child soloists \n& Early Classical Works performed by the Four Seasons Camerata \nPart Two: \nOriginal Compositions By Tony Tripp – Performed by the Porta Caeli Chamber Players \n– Early Works \n– Sacred Works \nThe Show will conclude with a collaborative art film By Taso Papadakis and Tony Tripp – with the soundtrack performed live. \nDon’t miss this evening of both classic and new music. The production received rave reviews for their unique and powerful portrayal of the three Weird Sister characters. \nActor/director/filmmaker Renee O’Connor is best known for playing Gabrielle\, Xena’s trusted sidekick on the popular series Xena: Warrior Princess from 1996-2001 as well as other film\, television and stage roles.
