SUMMARY:Meet the Music Student Community Performance
DESCRIPTION:A recorder performance by local fifth graders – for the community! \nGrand Vision Foundation’s Meet the Music students from local partner schools will perform during April’s First Thursday ArtWalk. Grand Vision’s Recorders in Schools program provides trained teaching artists to classrooms to lead weekly music classes during the school day. Students learn to play an instrument\, read music and perform. This program also incorporates music into history\, culture and math! \nThis performance is free and open to all\, no tickets or RSVP required. \nAfter the performance\, stay and listen to Sharkbait\, a youth band from the Boys & Girls Club of the Los Angeles Harbor. \nSponsored in part by:
