Sessions include developing rhythmic sensibility\, body awareness\, breath and strength training as students make music together as a team. \nTeam Taiko is open to all skill levels and abilities\, from beginners to seasoned musicians. Classes are recommended for ages 12 and up\, children must either participate with a guardian or have a participation waiver signed before class. \nClasses are offered in person and streamed live via Zoom to allow for all to participate. \n  \nWinter Session Mondays at 7 PM January – February\nTeam Taiko classes are broken into 8-week sessions\, with a different pattern taught during each session. DESCRIPTION:Team Taiko is joining the San Pedro Holiday Parade. \nLearn how to taiko in a parade\, we will practice how to wear the drum and march while playing. \nThe Parade Class will be held on Monday\, November 25 from 7-8 PM. \nThe Parade performance will be on Sunday\, December 1\, from 1-3 PM. \nIf you would like to drum in the parade please be sure to select your shirt size when you register. We ask that you pay $5-35 to help cover the cost of materials. \nIf you would just like to attend the class to learn these taiko techniques please select the Class Only option. \n  \nTeam Taiko is open to all skill levels and abilities\, from beginners to seasoned musicians. Classes are recommended for ages 12 and up\, children must either participate with a guardian or have a participation waiver signed before class. \nClasses are offered in person and streamed live via Zoom to allow for all to participate. \nAbout Class Fees & Sliding Scale: \nThis event is designed to be $25 per person\, but we don’t want economic circumstances to be a barrier to attending so we offer tickets on a sliding scale.
