DESCRIPTION:Ambassador Christian School presents the classic “tale as old as time” at the beautiful Warner Grand Theatre in San Pedro! Based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature\, the stage version includes all of the wonderful songs written by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman\, along with new songs by Mr. Menken and Tim Rice. The original Broadway production ran for over thirteen years and was nominated for nine Tony Awards\, including Best Musical. Tickets are available online only. No door sales. \nCovid-19 Safety at the Warner Grand Theatre\nAs of 2/25/22 \n\nAll City of LA and LA County Health Orders will be followed.\nAttendees 5 years and over who present proof of full vaccination do not need to wear a mask\, although they may choose to wear one.\nAttendees who are not fully vaccinated may present printed proof of a NEGATIVE COVID test result; a PCR test taken within the previous 48 hours\, or a home antigen test taken within the previous 24 hours.\nUntil further notice\, concessions consist of water\, coffee\, soft drinks\, beer and wine in plastic screw-top containers; no food items may be consumed in the venue.\n\nThe Covid-19 rules are in flux. DESCRIPTION:As part of the Roots & Rambles series\, Chris Pierce will lead a song writing workshop before the concert from 7:00-7:45pm. \nChris Pierce is a Billboard-charting singer-songwriter. His latest amazing album\, American Silence is rich with powerful reflections of contemporary social issues and has earned glowing reviews from NPR Music\, No Depression\, Rolling Stone and many more. \nKnown also for his blues-soul band Reverend Tall Tree\, Pierce is gaining national attention for his work on many tv and film soundtracks\, most recently for his version of “No One” from the series “A Million Little Things and his co-write “We Can Always Come Back to This” from the series “This is Us.” This song peaked at #1 on the Billboard Blues Chart and garnered nominations for “Best Song/Recording Created for Television” from The Guild of Music Supervisors and The Jerry Goldsmith Awards. \nIn addition to his own touring and musical projects\, Pierce frequently lends his warm soul vocals\, guitar and harmonica to other artists’ recordings.
