SUMMARY:Meet the Music Student Community Performance
DESCRIPTION:Join us as we play and dance our hearts out! \nWe are pleased to announce that Grand Vision Foundation’s Meet the Music students from local partner schools will be featured in a free live community performance in San Pedro during May’s First Thursday ArtWalk. Led by a Grand Vision teaching artist over 24 weekly classes\, students have learned to play an instrument\, read music\, and perform. The program also integrated music into history\, culture\, and math! \nThis performance is free and open to all\, no tickets or RSVP required. \nThis event is made possible in part by support from the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs\, LA County Department of Arts and Culture and the California Arts Council.
